Providing a forum for children and teens to work in teams, the anti-bully mural project brings students together to create uplifting murals for their schools. When students work together to illustrate their positive character words such as "Participation, Motivation, Determination" they have a hands-on experience resolving differences of opinion, solving problems, listening, and learning from each other. All of the children's ideas are then developed into a permanent mural for their school. This week, we are painting a character wall mural in Lawrence Middle School -- stay tuned as it is comes to life. Special thanks to Anne Young who coordinated the project.
